My name is Ferdous Shahriar Tanmoy, and I have autism. I am currently employed at the duty-free shop in Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport under the Bangladesh Tourism Corporation. I received training from PFDA – Vocational Training Center, which also helped arrange my job. Additionally, my colleagues at work have received training to support me. I do not face any challenges in my job.
One of my teachers, who was my training supervisor, regularly checks in on me. He helps address any issues or challenges I face in my new work environment, ensuring that problems are resolved quickly. I take pride in earning a living at the age of 26, and I am delighted to contribute to my family by supporting my mother financially. My hope is that all my friends can achieve the same level of independence and success one day.
